Dear Students,

I welcome you all to Bachelor Business Administration (Computer Applications) program formerly known as B.C.A. in Commerce in K. J. Somaiya College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Kopargaon. The course deal at an advanced level of computer application study. The course primarily focuses on imparting knowledge about different aspects of computer applications and related fields.

Our goal is to impart value based education along with the development of positive attitude, better communication skills and abilities through training programs, Cultural & Sports Activities and proficiency of preparing Business Plan, becoming entrepreneur to apply knowledge in order to meet the challenges of future.

B.Com (C.A.) curriculum is inclined more towards Application Development and thus it has more emphasis on the latest programming languages and tools. MCA course includes various aspects of computational theory, programming, algorithm design and optimization, network and database management, mobile technologies. Under academic autonomy, study schemes of the offered programs updated regularly focusing outcome-based education, to make students employable as per national and international requirements. Graduates of the department are serving around the globe in eminent companies, academia, and in the public sector. They are bringing laurel to the department by excelling in the fields of their work. Every year a good number of students get placements in reputed IT companies with good salary packages.
