About NAAC

As a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure, our college established Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) on 30th December, 2004 as per the guideline of NAAC. The basic function of IQAC is to prepare an Action Plan for performance evaluation, assessment and accreditation, and quality up-gradation of higher education institutions. Recognizing the importance of such institutional internal quality system, our IQAC plays a major role in undertaking quality up-gradation of the institute. The IQAC Committee has been formed as per the guidelines of NAAC and Prof. V. C. Thange is working as a Coordinator of IQAC.

The IQAC in our institute ensures timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks. IQAC takes into consideration the relevance and quality of academic and research programmes and ensures equitable access to and affordability of academic programmes for various sections of society. The review of work done and future plans are discussed in it. The Action Taken Reports (ATR) are prepared and Annual Quality Assurance Reports (AQAR) are prepared and submitted with in stipulated time to NAAC every year.

The IQAC looks into an internalization of the quality culture of the institute and ensures enhancement and coordination among various activities of the institution. The feedback mechanism and the best practices of the institute are closely monitored by the IQAC. The proper documentation of the various programmes, organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes are also monitored by the IQAC.
